Why separate the two?

I’ve lately been getting into the habit of actually not separating ‘work’ and ‘play’ in both my mind and daily schedule. So many of us seem to do it but is it really beneficial?

I tend to think that it’s not. If we set it up in our minds that we SHOULD be relaxing when we’re at ‘play’ and that we SHOULD be focused when we’re at ‘work’, it in actual fact increases the sense of pressure from these expectations. That’s not overly advantageous.

Just moving fluidly from one to the other, from being in the office or the healing room to being with friends or family, doing this I’ve found decreases the expectation. This is part of the process of achieving greater equilibrium in your life.
