Yin Yoga & Yoga Teacher
Carolyn has been teaching yoga for over 11 years.
Carolyn teaches Yin yoga. Yin is about surrendering. If you are feeling it, you are doing it. Yin is a style of yoga where you are targeting the joints and connective tissues in the body. By relaxing the muscles, this allows a deeper release.
Most Yin poses work from the waist down, mainly on the floor in a seated or lying position and are held for up to 5 minutes. Although challenging at times, it is suitable for most people. Like all yoga, it helps to reduce stress, open energy channels in the body and increase flexibility and mobility.
Carolyn’s qualifications include:
* Advanced Diploma Hatha Yoga
* Diploma Yin Yoga
Carolyn teaches our Yin yoga session at 7pm every Thursday and often fills in at our Saturday active session
