Having enjoyed a sold-out chanting event that drew 450 chanters to One En-Chanted Evening at the Melbourne Fringe Festival, the musicians of Melbourne chanting ensemble Vedic Vibe invite you to the tranquil Karma Studio in Bayside Melbourne for a more intimate experience. The musicians, on the merdang Indian drum, harmonium, guitar, oud and percussion guide you through an enchanting evening of Sanskrit and English singing that widens the heart, poetry that stirs the soul and meditation that stills the mind.
There is so much sweetness in chanting. Chanting stills the mind and fills the heart with love. It uplifts us and fills us with joy. It purifies the atmosphere within and without, and carries us gracefully into meditation. Whether you are completely immersed in devotion or just skimming along the surface of the sound, the power of chanting will seep through your entire being. Come dive into the pool of peace with us.
