Small, personalised groups
Pilates (or the Pilates method) is a series of about 500 exercises inspired by calisthenics, yoga and ballet. Pilates Sessions help you lengthen and stretch all the major muscle groups in your body in a balanced fashion. It improves flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness.
The Karma Studio programs offer a more personalised form of pilates, with small groups of no more than 8 students and sessions of 75 minutes. This provides greater benefit to our participants. Our groups are suitable for both beginners and those with yoga experience.
Our approach to Pilates is constructive, with each person guided to stretch and strengthen in safe and mindful ways.
The sessions also offer the opportunity for each person to address any physical or emotional issues with which they may be dealing at the time.
We offer 1 session time per week and organise our pilates sessions in 2-month blocks. Programs fill very quickly.
